1. Introduction

The Town of North Wilkesboro is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced commercial companies to provide a safe removal of approximately twenty-eight (28) light poles around and behind the baseball and softball fields for our facility located at 119 Wilkesboro Avenue, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. The contract will be for the completion of the removal of all wooden baseball field light poles and disconnection from the Memorial Park electrical system. 

2. Scope of Work

The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying all labor, equipment, and staffing required to ensure the job is completed in a safe manner for employees and members of the public. Maintaining the integrity of the existing ballfields is crucial to the completion of this project. The successful contractor will be responsible for the disposal of the light poles, light fixtures, and wiring attached to the poles. Work needs to be completed by April 6, 2026.
