CivicReady (Mass Notification System)

CivicReady (Mass Notification System) is a communication service that allows our residents to receive emergency and routine notifications through text, call, and/or email. Residents and staff often refer to these as "call-out notifications." Participants can select which types of alerts they want to receive when subscribing and can update their subscription at any time.

Examples of alerts include:

  • Emergency Alerts: These may include local warnings and hazards that require action, such as evacuation, shelter-in-place, and boil water orders.
  • Sanitation: Receive updates for trash and recycling schedule changes.
  • Weather warnings: Tornado, Flash Flooding, Severe Storms, Winter Weather, etc.
  • Missing persons.
  • Mandatory evacuations.
  • Town updates and project notifications.
