[ARCHIVED] Bow and Archery Hunting on town owned property Lottery Announced

Any person hunting within the town must have the property owner’s permission to hunt on any particular property. North Wilkesboro has announced a lottery process for those hunters interested in hunting on town owned property.

Interested hunters should come to the walk-up window at North Wilkesboro Town Hall at 832 Main Street during regular business hours to pick up an application for the lottery process beginning on August 10, 2020. Return the application for a drawing to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Town Hall on August 25, 2020 to determine the allowed permits for the coming season.

Any hunter given permission to hunt on town owned property must obtain a $50 season permit prior to hunting; these will be issued at Town Hall beginning August 25, 2020 during regular business hours. All hunters harvesting within the town must abide by all regulations of the N.C. Division of Wildlife for all bow and archery hunting at all times.
