LendEDU licensed the most up-to-date housing data from GreatData (who derives their dataset from the U.S. Census) for over 25,000 American cities. Each city was ranked according to its percentage of solar-powered homes relative to its total number of homes.

Specifically, North Wilkesboro has 26 solar-powered homes out of 9,832 total housing units, which means 0.26% of the homes in North Wilkesboro are solar-powered and more eco-friendly. The high percentage in North Wilkesboro ranked #1,112 in the country and #21 in the state of North Carolina.
