[ARCHIVED] Country Music at Concerts on the Deck set for July 16th

Griffin, a Florida native moved to Nashville right out of high school to pursue a career in music.  Since then, his top-streaming song “Woulda Left Me Too” introduced him as a singer with an unusually empathetic hand (and garnered millions of plays on Spotify). Griffin’s sound is a unique place between R&B and country. And Wilkes native, Alex Key, is  working hard to bring back 90s country sounds with songs like “We Want You Back” and “The Fool That I Am.”  Be sure and catch them both on the Window World stage starting at 6 o’clock.

Shows are free, rain or shine at the Yadkin Valley marketplace on the CBD Loop in downtown North Wilkesboro.  Leashed pets are permitted and guests should bring a chair or blanket for seating. Food and drink vendors are onsite, and there are several great restaurants within walking distance of the venue.

Concerts on the Deck, held June through October, is presented by Window World, Inc. and the Town of North Wilkesboro. Mark your calendar for August 20th when we feature folk rockers Cordovas and high-energy rock duo the Blue Footed Boobies.
