[ARCHIVED] Lottery Announced for Bow and Archery Hunting on Town Owned Property

Any person hunting within the town must have the property owner's permission to hunt on any particular property. Interested hunters should come to the walk-up window at North Wilkesboro Town Hall at 832 Main Street during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to pick up an application for the lottery process beginning on August 9, 2021. Return the application for a drawing to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Town Hall on August 25, 2021. This drawing will determine the allowed town owned property permits for the coming season. Hunters must obtain a $50 season permit prior to hunting. These will be issued at Town Hall during regular business hours.

All hunters harvesting within the town must abide by all regulations of the N.C. Division of Wildlife for all bow and archery hunting at all times.
