[ARCHIVED] Town presents First Concert on the Deck Since 2019

Just in time for summer, the stage heats up with Scythian and Brother Oliver on Saturday, June 19th. Scythian, a usual suspect at Merle Fest, promises a high-energy folk explosion. Performances continue monthly through October with The Embers with Craig Woolard, Sail On, The Beach Boys Tribute Band, Country artist Alex Hall and Chelsea Sorrel & Runaway Train and finally American-reggae group, The Elovaters.  All shows are free and are sponsored by Window World Inc. and the Town of North Wilkesboro.

For June's show, the CBD Loop in front of the Marketplace will be closed to traffic in order to expand the venue’s footprint, allowing for additional space to spread out. There will be a handicap drop off area on the Loop. Participants should bring chairs, blankets and leashed pets okay. Social distancing and masking for non-vaccinated attendees is encouraged when not with your friend or family group.

Food will be available on site, or attendees can take a short walk to downtown restaurants, like The Dispensary, 6th and Main, JTs BBQ & Ribs,  Big Al’s, Fork in the Alley, Dom Bakeries and Roselli’s. Why not place orders to go and bring food with you to the show? The Downtown North Wilkesboro Partnership will operate a beer and seltzer tent.
