Wilkes County Farmers' Market

Wilkes County’s oldest farmers market is opens late April through October at the Yadkin Valley Marketplace (842 CBD Loop) in downtown North Wilkesboro. It operates two days a week, Tuesday’s 3:30p-5:30p and Saturdays 7:30a-12noon. The market features 20 plus vendors who sell locally grown and raised produce and meat, valued-added items like bread and cheese and hand-made crafts. Often times musicians meet up at  the market for an impromptu jam. Its truly a community gathering place and source of pride for the county.
