[ARCHIVED] Town Reopens Memorial Park Courts

Two tennis courts remained and additional striping was added to accommodate pickleball and the Town added two basketball courts.  All courts are sized to meet regulations.

The Town contracted with Eric Redding with Triangle Fence Co., Inc. to complete the work which took a little over six weeks.  In addition to the restriping, the exterior fencing was repaired and a new ten foot fence was installed between the basketball courts and tennis courts for safety.  “We’re excited to see the final product and look forward to the community using the courts” said Nelson Martin, Parks and Recreation Director.   The courts are lighted and the Town asks patrons to turn off the lights when not using them.
