Apple Festival
The annual Brushy Mountain Apple Festival is held to celebrate the apple harvest from the nearby Brushy Mountains. It is one of the largest single-day arts and crafts fairs in the Southern United States. The festival features music, dancing, artwork, crafts, and food traditional to the Southern Appalachian Mountains.

Concerts on the Deck
Window World presents a free outdoor concert series, May through October, held the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Yadkin Valley Marketplace. Concerts are 6 to 10 p.m., rain or shine.

Light Up Downtown
An annual holiday festival held the Friday before Thanksgiving in downtown. This kick-off to the Christmas Season features visits with Santa, twinkling displays, decorated storefronts, festive music, food, craft and art vendors, performers and so much more.
MerleFest
MerleFest is an annual Americana music festival, which is held the last weekend in April, and is hosted by guitar player Doc Watson. The festival, founded in 1988, now attracts crowds exceeding 85,000 in number, making it the largest folk music festival in the United States. The music is spread across 15 different stages and four days.

Wilkes County Crimestoppers
This Crime Stoppers Program began in 1986 from the efforts of the Chamber of Commerce and our Sheriff's Office. Our Program now operates as an independent organization. Stone Mountain State Park

Wilkes County Farmers Market
The farmers market is located at the Yadkin Valley Marketplace in downtown North Wilkesboro and offers their customers more space and a broader selection. The market is open Tuesday 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to Noon, April through September. Come to the market to pick up a large array of locally grown vegetables, fruit, and other produce at an affordable price!

Wilkes Heritage Museum (WHM) is a non-profit responsible for operating and maintaining the Old Wilkes Jail (circa 1859), Robert Cleveland Log Home (circa 1779), and the Wilkes Heritage Museum (circa 1902). The WHM consists of a self-guided tour with exhibits including:
