PUBLIC NOTICE:
The Town of North Wilkesboro has received an offer to purchase a .56 acre tract of land on Flint Hill Road in town limits. The property is sloping south to north and has road frontage on Flint Hill Drive. The property has a sewer line easement running along the eastward facing side of the property. The amount offered is $5,651 for the .56 acre property.
This bid may be raised by not less than 10 percent of the first $1,000 originally bid, plus 5% of any amount above $1,000 of the original bid. Upset bids must also be accompanied by a 5% bid deposit. Prospective bidders have 10 days from the date on which this notice was published to offer an upset bid.
